  1. Ooh also if you have any photos of a typical Trevs rooms that would be awesome!
  2. Hi, I was wondering if you had any advice about Trevs, and in particular the postgrad rooms, please? I used to be at Marys but their postgrad accom isn't that wonderful I've heard. Thanks so much!
  3. Thanks for the advice, as my time is limited before I start I guess I'll try and cover as much of the core and mechanics modules as possible. Just out of interest, how important is probability because I can't stand it lol
  4. Hi, sorry I was just wondering whether you knew anything about the reputation/ feel of Hild Bede? I'll be there next year and I'm just worried that it might not have character because it's not a hill/ bailey college? Thanks!
  5. Hi, I just saw your post replying to somebody on the "ask a current student" thread, and I see you've been studying physics at Durham for quite some time now. I'll be starting a physics with foundation year in September, and although I'm assuming you didn't study via a foundation year, I was wondering if you could tell me which parts of a math a level/further maths a level are most important to learn (for physics), and which are not important whatsoever. I've started to self teach myself the math a levels and I've got just over 6 months to get as much done as possible, and I'm trying to work out what is/isn't worth learning, maybe it's all useful, maybe 50% isn't. No doubt I wont get through it all, but I want to make sure that I'm using my time as efficiently as possible and not studying some area of math which will have no relevance.
Anyway, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

  7. Ok thank you! That's reassuring to know
  8. Hi, I've an offer to study at Durham next year but I was just wondering what to expect from the post offer open day. Is it quite formal, will they interview us etc? I know that might sound silly, but I was wondering whether I should prepare for anything?
  9. Haha, thank you. Very old thread, that was started about a year ago I think! :mmm:
  10. Thanks for the rep! :cute:
