I'm currently in year 12 and I would really like to go the Cambridge senior physics challenge. I noticed that you went to the SPC a few years back, just wondering if you can offer me some advice as to what I can do to improve my chance of getting into the course. It seems that the senior Maths and Physics challenges are quite important, but aren't they in March, would I still have time to put my results into my application?
I'm currently doing Maths, Further maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and EQP. My school somehow teaches further maths and maths at the same time, so I have already done 3 maths modules in January.
I go to a state school and my teachers are not exactly the most ambitious students in the world, so I need a bit of advice.
Thank you very much.
Sorry for the late reply for some reason I only just got this today. Don't know if you still want to know as you've probably already got your offer/rejection. I didn't find it as hard as everyone else did, I thought it was easier than most of the past papers. Left about 15 marks worth of questions blank though. I think the cut off mark was around 50, from what i've heard
Hey, seeing as we've both got interviews for Physics, how did you find the PAT? What kinda mark do you think you got? Maybe we can try to figure out what the cut off mark was!
Don't believe in it
