Hi RJA,

I have a final round interview with HSBC on Thursday for Trading and I know that you passed the final stage back in November. I would really love it if you can give me some insight into what the day involves. I talked to Lucy and she was helpful but I would rather get a students insight that has made it, like yourself. What prep work did you do before the AC? and what tasks did you undertake during the AC.

Once again I would love your help and would be really grateful.

How much work do you do in comparison to economics students..

And yeah the flexibility definitely looks good, I've been working for an accountancy firm quite near to LSE this year so know the area etc..

What kind of job are you looking at? does management tend to lead to any particular jobs i.e. investment banking (not for me, but I know a lot of economists want to be IBers)

Also, (sorry for the questions!!) how is the teaching (generally :P)? I have heard mixed reviews from LSE..

It lasted for about 25 minutes, nothing technical, just competency questions. She asked a lot about "integrity" and what it meant to me and what it means in the context of the workplace in a bank. She also asked about my long term ambitions. Other than that, pretty standard. Good luck!
