As for hospitals. Despite cuts just give the operator of all the possible hospitals a call and see what happens. There must be a good few left

I must emphasis that this is only volunteering. So Work experience is another thing!

    Good Luck!

    Ah Hello There!
I did indeed find voluntary work experience (I am not a medic any longer but I think my experience is still valid)
Ok so it doesn't need to be clinical but I was fortunate enough to find this scheme at my local hospital:
    http://www.getthevibe.co.uk/
However, due to the damn cuts, most schemes including this one are coming to a close=/
    So It will be harder.

Now I doubt you're local to me however what you can do for a start is look for local non-clinical setting (maybe a church or youth centre) and see what schemes are on offer:

Give the places a call and there will almost definitely be somthing. If you want to step it up :

try official schemes like at the British Red Cross. I believe they have a refugee support scheme which would be a real eye opener
  3. Hi zazamak,
While I was searching for information on volunteer work in the nhs I came accross your post: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=1007270
I was just curious, seeing as this was two years ago, and I'm currently in the same position you were in back then; how did it go? Did you end up finding volunteer work? And how did you go about getting it?

    Yours Sincerely,

    Simeon
