Hi, sorry to bother you. I've just seen on a thread that you have a first class degree in nursing! I'm starting adult nursing in September and just wanted to know how likely is it to graduate with a first? I've searched the whole web and it brought me to your post how much extra work did you put in to get that degree? And does the first year count towards your final grade? Loads of my friends doing other degrees say theirs don't, but I'm guessing it's different for nursing. Also, how may people who graduated with you got a first? Really sorry about all the questions I've just being wanting to know for ages and you seem to be the right person to ask

Is a 'charge nurse' simply the nurse who is in charge of the ward? Like a type of ward sister who is in charge of the other nurses?

I know its a dumb question, but I really want to know. I volunteer on a psych inpatient ward, and people keep introducing themselves to me as 'charge nurses'...

I'm starting LJMU in March 2013 and I'm really confused on certain things, I was wondering if you could help me?
How did you go on about getting a bank account? and also, was there any 'divide' between you and your other flat mates (if you lived in halls)?

Hey, I was just wondering whether you are required to do a dissertation for a nursing degree? If you are, is it more theory based or practical stuff? I'm considering applying for the 2013 intake,but I haven't started my research yet and I can't get my head around what people do nursing dissertations on...
