  1. I didnt get the grades so i reapplied this year, going to a university in Paris instead It's not a stupid question, my boyfriend is like that, he doesn't like clubs or drinking, he's made plenty of friends so you'll be fine! I'm deleting my account on here, some people have said really nasty things to me and i don't have to take this, so if you have any more q's or fancy a chat, my twitter is www.twitter.com/JSam1994, good luck with your application!

EDIT: oh, turns out you can't delete your account, how odd. I'm going to stay away from this site however!
  2. There's also the Metro Radio Arena and the O2 arena where big bands come and play, always fun. It cold pretty much all of the time so i'd bring winter clothing, but i'm guessing it's a bit warmer than Scotland haha! I'm moving to Paris in september but i'm really sad to be leaving here, I'd definitely come check it out, everybody i know who has moved here would never leave, it's a fantastic city! Hope i've been helpful, any other q's you have just message me!
  3. Hi! i didn't actually end up going to Newcastle (not through my own choice!) so i can't comment that much on the course, but i have been to a few open days and i've talked to people on the course. Overall people seem to love it, there's a big choice of modules so the freedom you get is great, you can build the course around you. The range of languages they offer is pretty good too! If you do German, there's an optional module of Dutch which sounds exciting! Out of all the uni's i applied to, Newcastle was my 2nd favourite course (Portsmouth my 1st!) so i definitely think it's worthwhile taking a look. As for Newcastle, not being biased because i was born here, but it's my favourite place in the world. I can say hand on heart it's the friendliest place i've ever been. The people are what make it really, people go out of their way to help you and you can have a decent chat with a total stranger waiting for a bus! (Beware of stranger danger though haha!) It has loads of things to do, obviously it has the best night life in the UK - i think 7th best in the whole world - so the clubs are great, pubs are good too! (bear in mind, we're not all like the Geordie Shore cast!) For other activities everything is pretty central, you can go shopping, cinema, meal and even rock climbing all within 5 mins of each other. Loads of shops for every budget. Another thing i'd highly recommend if you don't mind a game of football is going to a Newcastle game at St James Park. Regardless of who you support (if anyone) it's a great experience! The atmosphere is unbelievable and the stadium is incredible, whenever i'm there there's always foreigners taking pictures. Tickets aren't overly expensive, depending on the kind of game you go to (Premier league £45ish, Europa league £15ish) It's a great experience!
  4. Hi - sorry I just noticed this.... I take it you got your results okay?
