You mentioned the teaching at Edinburgh, which you said you weren't too fond of, what is it that Aberdeen do teaching-wise that you prefer?
-
Thanks for the reply - sent my application away last week...I knew I wanted to apply to all Scottish unis, so I made the choice by picking one I thought I wouldn't like, and eliminating that. (Ended up being St. Andrews, not for the way they teach the course - but the bad things I've heard about the social side of the University.)
I think I prefer Edinburgh the best, but I'm trying to get the most info I can so I can make the best decision for me when the time comes, yeno?

Hey, had a question if you don't mind
What's your favourite thing about studying medicine at Aberdeen, and if you had the choice, what would you change about it?

I agree with the pirate episode, but the scene in which he finds the TARDIS again makes up for it. I've been working my way through the classic series and am on the fourth Doctor now, so I can't judge all of them, but I prefer Eleven more than Ten. I enjoy the childish, eccentric role he has going and I find his struggle to understand his emotions and confused anger an interesting dynamic. Matt can still play a serious role, yet I still loved David Tennant - I wasn't happy when he was killed off. Didn't think Matt Smith would be able to compare! So it's a photo finish really - for me Matt Smith edges it out.
I also think the episode's have been much better and more intricate since Moffat took over; some of the best episodes (The Empty Child, Blink, Forest of the Dead) of RTD's era were written by Moffat, so I give the credit to him and his fantastic team of writers!
