You can enrol now - someone on FB contacted the Academic Office and they said it was fine In the past the freshers party has just been like a regular club night - I don't think it will be properly formal/ball like, although perhaps some people will step things up a small notch.

There are about 420 en suite rooms in total, spread over three buildings. Each building had three floors and there are roughly 4 kitchens on each floor. Does that answer your question?

Probably not for £200, although £55 might be worth it. How much do you plan on going out?

Thanks for your really kind words I am still a little bit upset about yesterday, but life goes on and it's not the end of the world The advice that I have been given is that should I do really well at university, I can still apply to some really good places for post grad (even Oxbridge and Warwick) so fingers crossed

Heya You can't choose between Old or New Rootes (or I Block - a separate building called International House) - you just get allocated there. (See map)

The difference? New Rootes is perhaps more central, and obviously newer. How much newer? It's irrelevent - they were built within 5 years or so of each other in the late 60s/early 70s

Room sizes might differ very marginally, but otherwise the layout is similar.
