Hi there! I used Texmaker, which is an editor for making documents using LaTeX -- see here. I use Linux, which makes installing LaTeX stuff much easier, and I'm not really sure how to do it in Windows/Mac (I think it's more complicated -- it's not as simple as just installing Texmaker), but there will be a guide somewhere or other online I'm sure.

Yes. Unfortunately I messed it up, although STEP hasn't gone too well either so I doubt I'd have made a Cambridge offer (especially Trinity) anyway. Just hoping now that I get into Warwick, though I suppose if I don't Bristol is still good Are you starting Bath in October or are you there already?

I came across it first when I was trying to do a STEP I question but it was taking ages doing it in the usual way so I searched google and found it (2009 paper I, Q7? Not sure). Then, in the calculus with complex numbers chapter in FP3, it was in the extension section.

Out of interest, where are you off to for Uni? (or are you already there?)
