1. I meant you stroke your ego (which I don't actually care about, having confidence is good) at the expense of putting others down.

No you don't need to "tolerate" anyone if you don't want to, but I just want to point out that it's silly to generalise based on someone's size. I'm sure you're not perfect either, so you're hypocritical.

I'm just going to live and let live and I don't really care about what you say.

a) Personal choices, i.e. overeating and not exercising enough. Medical conditions.
b) Because you keep saying "fat people are lazy, lack self-respect", when you're generalising a lot. They're not committing a crime.

You have a point about the NHS (even though I disagree with the system), but the other things you were saying (such as they're mentally or emotionally lazy, low self-respect and so on) were generalizations.

Even if that were the case for some overweight people, why do you think it's your responsibility to correct them? Live and let live.
