    Hi there,
    I hope you don't mind me contacting you.
    I am starting a 2 year access to social science course in September.
    I am looking to apply for the DMU SLT degree, and saw on one if the threads that you had got in (congrats!).
    I just wondered if you had any tips for gaining work experience, what the uni looks for, and if there is anything specific that I can do to strengthen my application in late 2014?

    Just curious to know how you got on with your Sunderland application.
    I was interviewed there in the last few months and was rejected under dubious circumstances.
