  1. Hey, I thought this would be a more appropriate place to discuss the Arabic than on the thread...

I've heard pretty good reviews about Rosetta Stone, so that sounds like a good bet - but I haven't really looked into other packs/learning programmes, so I don't know if it's the *best* out there.

Concerning MSA speakers - that might be a bit more difficult, since most people only learn through speaking with their families so would speak the dialect of their family - Moroccan Arabic, Iraqi Arabic etc. But if you want practice, I've heard the Ibn Jabal Institute is really good for all abilities? I noticed you live in London so there are a few classes that you could attend - only thing is that there might not be so much spoken practice. Here's the link anyway: http://www.ibnjabal.com/home/

    Hope this helped!
  2. Hi, I think I remember you asking about learning Arabic? I used to learn Arabic about three years ago(but now forgotten most of it lol) The book I used was "Arabic Course for English Speaking Students" Originally Devised and taught at Madinah Islamic University and it's by Dr V. Abdur Rahman

It has links the UK Islamic Society. Though tbf, my parents were paying around £15/month for these lessons
  3. thanks.. will def try it xx
