"A lot of people come here to die" omg. I can imagine a lot of people's ashes are scattered there.
Why thanks My friend in Cornwall wants me to visit her ... I think she loves the place more than she lets on. I'm thinking about leaving the UK for a while but there's something about the British coastline.
My favourite British scenery is the Scottish Highlands but it's FRAKKING cold so down south it'd be warmer ofc

It's the proximity to the sea. Anywhere near the sea is going to be dear. Everyone loves sea views.
Last time I was in Bexhill, I walked along the promenade and read all the dedications on the benches A lot of them said "For so-and-so, who loved the sea" or "For so-and-so, who loved walking along this promenade."

Ahhh, don't tempt me Property prices are insane that far down south though. I quite like the look of Brighton, although I don't really want to live in a student-y place when I'm no longer a student as I imagine they'll start to irritate me.
How far do you live from the coast? How far do you need to walk to the sea? I imagine it's pretty near.
Definitely want to explore more of the south-east, possibly next year. One day I want a little house by the sea.

Wish I was going to the Hastings Beer and Music Festival this weekend to see Keane on their home turf again. Sort of. Anywhere in East Sussex counts as a homecoming gig for them.
My visits to Bexhill have made me want to live near the sea sooooo much.

I didn't see the patterns. I was looking for them. I was so tired carrying that big bag around
Di Paolo's, I think. Huge sundae for £3.95. I don't even like sweet food that much, but I needed to kill some time and om nom nom
(The guy who served me was really cute, too )

It was delicious, I want to go back and have another one
I just walked up and down the promenade (?). I also went into an ice cream parlour across from the De La Warr Pavilion Best ice cream I've ever had.
I tried to find the Keane album cover place, but couldn't Do you have to walk along the actual shingle beach to get to it? If that's the case I wouldn't have gone anyway as I had a huge backpack and was so tired carrying it around I got some postcards from the DLWP as well and have put them up in my room

Bexhill was very damp and windy yesterday but I had a great time anyway I went to the Sovereign Light Café and got a Sunday roast ... OMG it was ****ing delicious and fresh and cheaper than Spoons I walked along the West/East Parade (?) again ... Good times
Thought going in June would mean it would be even sunnier than last time but, alas ...

- About me
- There's not much to tell. Didn't perform as well as I should've at school, and at college I spent most of my time stoned or chasing skirt. I'm now a manual labourer, which isn't too bad despite the amount I bitch about it. Exercise, music, and fresh air. Beats working in an office.
