About me

I love to read books; strange and eclectic books, as well as the more mundane trashy bestsellers. I like people to buy or lend me books because I fear purchasing unfamilliar books in case I won't enjoy them, and I find libraries intimidating. For this reason I practice the excellent and civic-minded activity of bookcrossing.

I talk drivel. I gibber inanely. Sometimes I forget to press the return key and the drivel turns out to be fairly passable prose, some of which is on the internet. Somewhere...

Academic Info

I graduated from a degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence in 2010. I now work in the corporate R&D industry.

I really enjoy the AI/Embedded Systems/Robotics end of Computer Science. Where software meets hardware. Eventually I'd love to go into R&D, or start my own company based on some awesome (but as yet hypothetical) ``Big Idea''.
