Hiya, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I'm sure you've already asked somebody else/thought of what you were going to do, but I'll go ahead with my advice anyway.

I initially applied for both SEC and IBD but then later withdrew my SEC application since I had the same fears as you. HOWEVER, I have two close friends who applied for both SEC and IBD and ended up with offers from both. HR really don't mind as long you can show why you're interested in both.

That being said, if you get on, there's no way that you can switch during the spring week. But if you change your mind during the spring week and make it clear to HR at the end, they'll (probably) allow you to interview with a different division. That happened to one of the IBD spring interns that decided to change to a different division.
