Hey miss khan, sorry or the late reply, I only just saw your message for some reason. I ended up applying for psychology and I already have all of my offers. Have you heard anything yet? If not I wouldnt be worried because its still really early and biomed has a lot more aplicants than psychology

Im looking at 2 As 2Bs and a C, it would have been 3 As but for an outrageous chem2 paper. That's what my parents are expecting now and they believe I should be able to get atleast that bcoz of how much they saw me working for them!! But to be honest with you, overall they could have gone better. Statistics went badly to tell you the truth...guessed pretty much every question :-/ (not self teaching EVER again) and I absolutley bombed physics one but then again myt have done better than I thought. paper 2 did go alot better tho... But I still dnt reli have an idea what I got for maths/chem/physics> Results days gna be tough!!

if you're a year ahead, then that means the only reason you did AS twice is bcoz you were forced to do it again. If the uni's know this, then I don't think that fact alone will compromise your chances of getting into medical school. That said, if your grades the first time weren't good enough for you to be predicted high enough to apply for medicine, then it will compromise your chances because uni's will see it as taking 2 years to get the required AS grade(like me). if that isn't the case then your chances are probly just as high as 1st year applicants and probly better than mine. don't be so negative! you have more time to get experience/add to ur PS, etc

I think you should contact uni's to ask them directly, whether you should apply or not, so you know where you can apply

Basically what im hoping is some universities will overlook the fact that im resitting, if I get good UKCAT/Bmat and volunteer work, bcoz its not just all about grades. If you worked hard this year and get much better grades this year, your reference will work in your favour. I don't think you should hide that you're resitting from unis, bcoz your college probly wont let you send off your ucas if they know that. Uni's dont like dishonest people either
