Hi, i have got to you through a post on Chemical Engineering. I am such a tricky situation atm. I don't know any more if i like ChemEng as much as i thought i did. Are the day to day activities interesting? Is there much maths and problem solving to be done or do you sit in front of a computer screen monitoring a screen to make sure everything is tip-top shape and running smoothing (that is the picture i have of what a ChemEng does, and i hope i am wrong). is it about Designing equipment and machines to carry out chemical processes or is it more about actual chemistry and the reaction taking place ? have you ever found yourself being bored ? Please give me an Un-biased and as detailed an answer as possible, cause i do not want to make the wrong decision and have to live with it the rest of my life.
