Hi! I saw from York Firmers thread that you are studying PPE, which I'll be doing if I manage to meet my conditional offer... If you don't mind me asking, I had some questions about the structure of the course. How flexible is the course in terms of choosing modules? The PEP website doesn't really help, about each courses modules there are links to individual websites which don't give you a clear list. Is it mostly made up from compulsory modules, or can you take for example more maths based modules if you want to? A second question is about the college choice, I see you are in Derwent and I know it's the closest college to the department, but do you spend a lot of time in and around the department, hence would it be smarter to choose a central college? I am also an international student whose parents are so keen on British education that they make her do A-levels here too And this leads me to the question of holiday storage, Is there any kind of storage unit for international students in the university? And thank you if you've read this endless list of questions so far, I really appreciate it

Hey i read on a post you commented on that you loved History at college but decided to do PPE at university and just had a few questions regarding that. History is hands down my favourite subject but im torn between pursuing that or PPE at university. Any advice? I love philosophy, don't know much about politics but am bored by economics.

Oh I see. I've just picked up on the fact that you're from Peru; hence the international qualifications. I'm doing A levels and the requirements are A*AA (higher than what Oxford ask for). I'm hoping I can meet those requirements, let alone exceed them.

I've also gathered that they don't interview anyone, so what's your advice on the personal statement. From the website, it seems they put a lot of weighting on it.
