Yes I am an aries lol. Haha maybe, I was surprised people got so angry on that thread! But I mean you have to look smart for school and work, so what's so terrible about dressing nicely for uni?

Thanks , till yesterday I saw no flaw in it, shall endeavour to ignore the comments. I love, love, love European style, I don't think there is anything I love more on this earth that the Parisian woman, they are so immaculate, perfectly fitted clothing, beautiful hair, nails and skin, I just love it all!
I became a little paranoid as my group of friends (and most people I know for that matter) , dress well everyday, I had a mini panic and imagined a world where everyone in uni didn't make an effort and I stuck up like a sore thumb. My university is in London so I'm sure I will find like minded people .
When I visited Warwick for the open day I saw a sauve boy in the most beautiful tweed blazer and loafers, I'm sure you will find like minded people too

I have sent you 3 reps I deleted my photos, once they recieved 25 negative points, I'm not sure whether I missed something however I see absolutely nothing wrong with the photos I posted. I use the website http://lookbook.nu/ and the daily photos posted by bloggers and normal people resemble the photos I posted, I was shocked at the amount of dislike people have for a simple loose blouse, tight jeans and nice shoes. I see people dressed like this every day around London.
This was my personal style for college, most of the girls in my college were also stylish. I was never aware that this style was seem as 'too much'. I am now paranoid for university

Tim Burton and Clint Eastwood's films really inspire me and I love surreal film yet I also love really gritty reality, so hopefully with that clashing combination I can create something unique! I love travelling & am thinking of next year spending 6 months in gorgeous Paris and then six months in New York.
Ooh, I have ALOT of crushes so its impossible for me to choose one! Haha.

Haha. Yep I do love the rock/punk look - I sort of have that style but throw in a lot of black so I end up looking like Joann Jett meets the Addams family!
I think you have persuaded me even more now with Gossip Girl - it is one of THE most addicted shows I have ever seen. I quite love Chuck Bass and love the thought of teasing a charcater like him endlessly!
That is incredible - I would also love to join a modelling agency but I am only 5'6.5 so not tall enough... . I was actually watching 'The Modelling Agency' documentry last night (Do you watch it?) Its such a great industry and a amazing one to be part of. My mum used to be in fashion so I guess it rubs off!

I think what I often see it that people are frightened about fashion. Because it scares them or make them feel insecure they put it down. On the whole people that say demeaning things about our world I think that’s usually because they feel, in some ways, excluded or, you know, not a part of ‘the cool group’ so as a result they just mock it.
Just because you like to put on a beautiful Carolina Herrera dress or a pair of J Brand blue jeans instead of something basic from K-Mart it doesn’t mean that you’re a dumb person.
There is something about fashion that can make people very nervous.
