Explanation of one EWT research - either 6 or 8 marker (I have a hunch it's the former)
Two ways in which you can improve daycare - 4 marker (i'd revise this if I were you)

Strange situation - I think 6 marks in total
Cognitive interview - 4 marker
Research methods - 1 marker on measures of central tendency, a couple of marks on type of experiment and how you could improve it.
Identify from stimuli material if a child was insecure avoidant, insecure resistant or secure - this was a 2 marker at the most.
Directional hypothesis - 2 marker
Erm, I can't remember the rest. Maybe other posters can help. Good luck hun. "

Yes, by quantitative I mean mathematical. So that includes but is not limited to econometrics. It also covers game theory, mathematical modelling, etc.

Hey. Birmingham is a strong university overall and their Economics department is also strong, with a heavy quantitative focus. What is also nice is that they offer a lot of modules in international economics and trade, development economics, European economics, and Russian Economics, so these should be of particular interest if you are doing your course jointly with Politics.

Hmm, fair enough. Although, I think it would be worth noting that not having Maths at A level makes the offer higher. With Maths, the typical offer is AAA. I've had to drop Maths due to advances in personal and health circumstances.
Also, given that you applied to Oxford, how did you find the TSA and what preparation, if any, did you do?

A*AA? For York? They must have gone up big time. They don't interview as you rightly said. For my PS I just did my own thing, wrote about myself, my life and why I was interested in my intended course of study, didn't bother with the much hyped books I'd read section or anything like that. It didn't work on Oxford, LSE, Durham or Edinburgh but it got me in to York...
My pleasure

Haven't started the course yet but the uni's been great in terms of student support and being welcoming and etc. As for admissions, it's like any UCAS app, they talk a load of crap about personal statements and etc. but just meet or exceed their entry requirement (36 for IB, not sure for A levels)
