Just wanted to say, I had a look at your blog and I've found it both really interesting but also sad- I thought we'd moved on from this idea of dehumanising patients, and those examples you posted of confirmation bias just really got to me...

As far as I know you are Psychology student at UCL and formerly you were rejected. But you somehow managed to be accepted by UCL, am I right? Sorry for this sudden message but I was just rejected by UCL for Psychology and oh, you are my last hope. Could you tell me how did you do that? I would be so grateful

I read from your thread that you're doing some philosophy modules this year. Can you tell me something about the department? I'm deciding on whether to firm my offer. So far the only complaint I've heard about is the general lack of contacting hours. Do you find that true? How are you getting along with the staff and students? What's the usual workload? Does every student have the option to take outside courses from other departments, and are there any restrictions? I know that's a lot of questions...thanks in advance

It was on priming. I carried out my own experiment and then my EPQ project was basically my report with abstract, methodology, results, discussion, etc.

Aha I see. I should be okay, I think. I've 9A*s, 5 As at GCSEs, 5 As at AS-Level and I'm predicted 4 A*s for A2, along with A* for my EPQ based on psychology as well as an A for General Studies As-Level (although that doesn't really count xD). So I'm fine grades-wise, it's just whether they like me or not x)
