  1. Im no expert but there is some advice I can give you.
Make sure you pay full attention during classes and it would be ideal if you ask your teacher at the end of the lesson what you will study in the next lesson. This mean you can have a look at what you are going to be doing next and the next lesson will be more revision than anything else.
I really enjoyed every subject that I did from the first to the last day of school, so that makes a difference, you need to be determined to do well. I have to admit that the teachers I had were very good in that they taught the content well (execpt one of my bio teachers where I had to learn half of the bio sylabus myself ).
I did AQA bio and chem and edexcel maths. The offical textbook that I used were very good, but I did get the CGP revision guides for the Bio and Chem. For maths, amke sure you do all the questions set and then for revision do the examination/review exercises. Since I did further maths, I had so much maths work to do that I didnt really get time for that until study leave.
And Good Luck, let me know how it goes
  2. BBB is certainly enough to get you into the foundation year. I think you only need 240 UCAS points!
  3. Yes I got accepted for a place this year. I imagine whether the uni will accept you will depend on their leniency and how much in demand places are - I've heard it's pretty competitive though. However thats really a question for the admission department....
  4. I do a foundation science year at UEA - it can lead to Pharmacy. But if you do A-levels you need to get 75%. Are you planning on going there yourself? I failed AS Chem and only got BCD at A-level (lack of effort) and i'm doing well enough to get a pharmacy offer. So i'd say you're fine!
  5. yep same dreading it you any good?
