I'm not sure if Aston will accept those grades for a course offer but they very well might if you are intending to retake any exams. My offer from them for a biomedical science course was ABB, I got ABB for my AS levels though so that may have been why they gave me an offer. Apply anyway and see what they say!

Hey, yes unfortunately teachers aren't the best...
You might as well submit it now and hopefully someone will manage a review for you within 3 days

Discuss to a friend about the topics done after lectures and read the notes immediately to refresh your memory. Borrow many books from the library, do not rely on only the textbook given by your department for your subjects, make your OWN notes to help you understand the topics. If you do science subjects, read scientific journals eg newscientist etc. Lastly, always ask your teachers questions if you do not understand anything taught in class, do not leave it too late. Goodluck!!

Hi! Sorry for the late reply.Been busy with uni! . Here is what I did, I hope it will be of help to you.
I started reading everyday, post its on the wall, continual reading of notes, doing homework and reading ahead. When I mean continual reading, I mean constantly, in the bus, during school breaks etc. Also asking teachers what you find difficult ahead of time, always prepared for every lessons before the teacher starts it. No time for facebook, msn etc Just overall being a bookworm to the core, do take break when reading though like 5 to 10minutes and NEVER leave your reading too late like a month before because A level is hard irrespective of what people think on here. Finally, get good results for practicals they really help A LOT, practice past papers way before exams to perfect your exam technique then as time goes on, time yourself to finish before the exam time given for the past papers, ALWAYS participate when given team work.
