  1. Hi, could you tell me why you edited my post? Confused as to what I put there that doesn't fit with the regulations.
    Thanks
  2. im new to this and i dont really know what im doing, can you reply if you get this?:|
  3. Hi, course you can! It went alright I think, was so relaxed and friendly so I instantly felt less nervous when I went in. There was just two tutors doing the interview. They played up a fair bit, but it was nothing particularly hard to deal with. The one-to-one felt very informal and more like a chat. They asked a bit about what teachers should be like and what my strengths were etc. Nothing unusual that you wouldn't see on a list of practice questions really. Can't remember much more than that as I was concentrating too hard! The marking exercise was fine, really nothing to worry about or revise for, was mainly common sense. I'm just dying to hear back now, they said they'd let us know quickly so been refreshing my emails all day! Good luck as well.
  4. Can you give me the correct answer, please?

It is really important for me, thank you.
  5. Hi
I don't understand how these forum things work but are you also in 2 muir house next year?
  6. I wouldn't worry about that too much to be honest. My proposal was as broad as possible and covered everything from American/English lit from 1945 to present. It didn't have a clear structure to it but one professor said "must people find the right way to go after a month of two of writing"
  7. Cool. Try and email the senior supervisors about a PhD then. It helps them to remember your name.
  8. Are you doing English Lit at St John? I did English Lit at York Uni
  9. Yep, on Lancaster's website, it was just mentioned "80 UCAS points" so maybe thats it.
I have applied, lets see! thanks a lot for your reply though
  10. Hi

Can you tell me if a university asks for a minimum of 80 UCAS for foundation year, and I have achieved that through a combination of AS levels, is that acceptable? or do I have to achieve those points by full A levels?

    Thanks!
