  4. Hi Mr Mop, thanks, I guess you're right. I just wat someone to tell me what to do! I think I can get the grades at both places...I'll chew on it. Thanks anyway!
  5. Jello Mr Mop. I am seeking advice from ANYONE I see, so I'm so sorry to bother you but firstly, what kind of secondary school and sixth form did you go to? I.e. Comp, co-ed, state, independent, single-sex? I have a dilemma, see, I don't know if I should change from my quite good, comfortable, all-girls' state school where all the teachers know me well, to a boys' (mixed Sixth Form), independent school with excellent teaching and facilities. Can you help at all?
  6. Thank you SO much! Your information has really helped me. Hmm, same here-My school, where I took my GCSE's only had a overall pass rate of 45%. I hope my retakes don't disadvantage me too much :/ I will tell my tutor mention my old school in my referrence My friend and I seriously look up to you, as you give us hope! Hope you're having fun at med school
  7. Hey, I was just wondering what you think was the most important factor in your med school application? I had similar GCSE's to you but I retook 4 and ended up with 6A*'s 6A's and 1B. Please share your secret xD Was it your PS? Your work experience? Thanks!
  8. Enjoy revenge neg
  9. Hi, I know it's a bit stupid to ask this question, I only get 2 A*s at GCSE, all the rest are Bs which is really annoying, but I came from another country which is non-english speaking country at all, i joined the school in the middle of year 10, i missed out half a year at that time, obviously those issues affected my GCSE, well, i hope you dont think that's an excuse, but I am pretty sure i will do well at A LEVEL, let's say getting all A*s and amazing BMAT score, is there ANY possibility I can get into Cambridge then? i REALLY love caius btw...
  10. just wondering how did you get so highly in BMAT, any tips or recommended books?

Third year medic at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. It's pretty awesome here. This year's been less interesting than others, studying pathology, but next year I get to wear a badge saying student doctor and poke people with needles.
