Hope AS results were what you hoped for (my school have been a bit slaughtered by them; the Sciences and Maths in particular are riddled with Us.) I did okay, better than I'd anticipated.

Haha, we all have panic moments, I can't count the number of threads I wrote on, exclaiming that I was going to miss my offer after my History exam! Besides, I think I tend to read a lot of A-level related threads anyway, especially regarding subjects I've studied - don't worry about it!

I've seen that you were slightly disappointed by your AS results, and I just wanted to say that it really isn't the end of everything, someone from my school went to Oxford to study History after getting a B in AS history, and they also studied PE - which is a less traditional subject academically. I still think that you've done really well and should be very proud of yourself. There is another girl at my school, a friend of my sister's, who wants to do English at Oxford, and she was upset at getting a B too - I think a lot of students have been hit by harsh marking - or maybe even marking errrors this year. Anyway, I hope that all goes well for you and that you enjoy the rest of your summer!
