Hi i was on 2013 medicine re-applicants page and saw you were a successful re-applicant. I recieved 4 rejections last year 3 pre-interview 1 post-interview. Was wondering if you had any tips for the UKCAT as i think it let me down last year ( i got 617.5). Do you know if applying with A*'s at A-level is advantageous? Thanks

I have an interview at Leicester on Feb 1, had a Cardfif one on Jan 13, I have had nadda from Bristol and Southampton though. How about you?? My sister applied to Leeds, have they sarted interviewing?? x

How is your 2012 medical application treating you?? Did Leicester get back to you yet?

Oh coool You must have got a decent UKCAT then applying to Durham Erm not particularly haha, just learn your stuff about the NHS/GMC etc, and then know all about your work experience, extra curriculars and medical related stuff that's been in the news recently. Also make sure you have a few mock interviews at school, that's more useful than making notes I foundd. x

Noo not particularly haha. Just working, visiting friends at their unis and that. I might do something exciting in the summer but I'll have to see how it goes

Yeahh, me neither. I've applied to a fifth option just to keep my options open, but who knows what I'll do if I don't actually get in.

Yeahh exactly, its because its so new that its worrying. I like the sound of it in general, because you get to start again each time, but going into the unkown is pretty nervewracking.

Who knows though, we may not even get interviews there :P But thats being very pessimistic!
