    I used a few different revision methods.

    I wrote out a list of quotes I thought would be sufficient for any possible essay topic--use quotes that either give plenty of room for analysis, or sum up a particular feature very well.

    When I got tired of reading quotes over and over, was to voice record myself reading the quotes aloud--that way you can just sit and relax and listen to them, and it gives you another way of 'taking them in' so you learn them better. Also you can listen when just going for a walk or whatever.

    Finally, my teacher wrote me a few essay questions. If yours is willing to mark them for you, definitely ask them to, but going through them carefully with the mark-scheme will do, and will help you improve

    Those should guarantee you marks over 90%, as long as you're willing to put some real time into sitting down for an hour every few days and writing another practice essay. Soon enough it becomes near-automatic to do them right.
