  1. could you get each lecturer to video each STEP session? (and post it online), it would be invaluable to those who can't travel... Warwick must have recording equipment somewhere.

    About me
I graduated in Maths/CompSci from Churchill College, Cambridge in 1977. My career in public sector IT management sort of ended, so I've now reinvented as a freelance Maths teacher/coach.

I'm a Further Maths Tutor with MEI, teaching A level to classes in Wolverhampton and Stoke through the Further Maths Support Programme.

I'm coaching seven students for STEP/AEA in Burton, Stafford and Wolverhampton because they have offers from Cambridge/Warwick.

I do gifted/talented Maths coaching for a Staffordshire school.

    I'm a mentor with UKMT.

Warwick offers a couple of STEP days a year for their applicants, and I'm pleased to be a part of that.

What am I doing in TSR??

A student recommeded me to try it out - so here I am.

I'm trying to answer the question 'what do teachers do when the curriculum is all on the web, and 24-hour peer support is available?' Best answer so far from one student - 'be there for us' and 'answer our hard questions'

TSR and other collaborative platforms mean that sparse populations (e.g. BMO qualifiers or Warwick mathmos-to-be) can seek each other out and work together. How does that all fit in? I want to find out.
