  3. Lol
  4. Hey, have you applied for Falmouth? x
  5. Yes certainly! The degrees here are very flexible. Infact, i've completely swapped my degree since being here.
  6. This year I'm doing work experience and some paid work teaching secondary school kids drama and running drama clubs. My advice to you in that regard would be to get involved in whatever you can, whether it's in school or out of school - most of mine is pure luck that I've gone to the 'right' school which offered great opportunities, but those opportunities are out there! Check out local theatres and ask if you can shadow various people on show nights, or see if they offer work experience weeks etc. In my opinion, it's so useful working the different parts of a theatre, both performance and tech and theatre staff, cause you learn how you all need to work together. That's the great thing about the theatre course - everyone has a standard first year, so all the directors, performers, techies work together and network and learn how everyone fits together.
    Peace out x
  7. I dunno, I would say I have a fair bit, but I dunno. I've done a fair few plays in school, I did Theatre Studies A level and did fairly well. I've also performed and worked at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival two years in a row.
  8. Mmm, pretty annoying. In the long run it doesn't matter too much, as long as I get an interview/place. Falmouth is pretty much where I wanna be. Nah, all they see is the information on your UCAS form, but they don't see things like the other unis and courses that you've applied for.
So you would be year 13, but you're retaking yr 12? That's cool, I know a couple of people who did that
  9. Oh right! I thought you were applying for a writing course! Yeah, I guess it's cool that they've merged it into one, cause it's gonna make it more modular like other courses, but it's just a ballache that they've done it two months after I've applied, rather than before applications opened. I can't see how applying for two courses at the same uni will count against you to be honest! If anything it shows your commitment and interest Also, if you're applying for theatre and also English then they're most probably going to be dealt with by different admissions tutors, who won't confer, so you won't get 'marked down' for that. Your universities won't see your other UCAS choices when you apply, so there's no problem there If you're applying for 2012, are you in sixth form and taking a gap year or in year 12 or...? x
  10. Sorry, I have no idea why I was just a massive douche bag.
