  1. Hi there,

Sorry to trouble you but I've seen your posts around regarding your experiences with VetMed and note that you're also an Animal Science graduate, so I was hoping you could offer me some guidance!

After years of turbulent home life and interruptions in my academia, I finally did my A Levels and I'm now in my first year of a BSc Applied Animal Sciences course. I desperately want to go on to do VetMed after but I have so many concerns over three competitiveness and fees.

In the next three years I will have to do more A Levels too (Bio and Chemistry seems to be a requirement for every VetMed course) so I'm looking at some tough times. A friend of mine is now at Cambridge for VetMed which makes me even less hopeful as she's never got anything less than an A in her life!

What A Levels did you do? Do you think having a degree in Animal Science improved your chances? And how did you fund VetMed? Did you get offers from all the schools you applied to?

Sorry to bombard you but I'm so desperate for info ... I have the passion to be a veterinarian but feel my academic choices and personal experiences have seriously killed off any hope of me ever becoming one

Your help would be much appreciated. I hope you're having a nice day.
  2. Hello, my name is Katherine and I am currently in the process of doing my AS levels and chosing my EPQ title however I have hit a wall. I am considering doing something along the lines of veterinary sciences or something similar in university - do you have any suggestions or advice that could help me with my university choices and EPQ title choice; considering your qualifications, I thought you would be the best person to ask. I am living in singapore currently so there aren't many chances of volunteering at farms or veterinary practices but I am trying to find places and although singapore is very built up, there are various places with large biodiversity. I am extremely stuck !! I would seriously appreciate any assistance you could give me,

    Sincerly,

    Katherine Thornton
