un-besito (Offline)

Hey, just come back from my first day of sixth form. Today was merely admin, sorting out timetables etc, I have three double spanish lessons a week and then a lesson with a language assistant, likewise for German.

With German I've decided I'm going to do it- the timetable works out that if I don't like it/don't get on with it, then I can do either Psychology, Business or Government and Politics which were all my reserve subjects- so it's worked out pretty nicely in fact!


My Spanish teacher (who I've got this year too) came up and congratulated me today, which was quite nice- I didn't really understand the whole numbering on my results sheet but I was pleased to find out I got 100% on the listening and reading- I was over the moon!

Wow I am sooo surprised!


I got 2A*'s, 4 A's and 6 B's!!! Very happy!

Got the A*'s in Spanish and English Literature. The A's in Biology, Geography, Business Studies and English Language and the B's in Maths (I nearly died of shock), Physics (likewise), German, Chemistry, Drama and R.S. So I'm feeling very happy!


Oooh enjoy Nottingham I hear it's meant to be so good and am contemplating going there or applying for there at least when the time comes

I was over the moon with my Spanish, full UMS, got full marks on everything bar the speaking but I was so nervous, but still unbelievably happy!

Oh that's great. Where are you heading off to?
Yep, I get mine Thursday, I'm feeling quite nervous about my Maths- the exam went terribly. I just want that magic C grade- then I know I'm into sixth form and I've passed maths- then I can stop thinking about it! Argh!

Been toying between Psychology and German, thinking I should of done Psychology. Can decided when I'm back- prolonging it doesn't clash with my time table

I'm doing a practice essay today too....I find the translation section really really hard! lol I've been doing quite a lot of general listening; Spanish radio, a few films etc. I've also been reading through Palabra Por Palabra, and highlighting the most important vocab I think I'm going to make some key phrases that i neeeeeed to use in the essays too

I've never heard of this guy before. He is really good
