How did the interview go?

Hey there! Well done on the Bristol one, I thought I would get rejected from there! They said A*AA including Maths, and As in Core 3 and 4, which shouldn't be too hard (but the A* will be a challenge, i mean one mucked up question and bye bye Bristol).

At Durham I applied for "Business Management" (L112), which makes me think I wont get in, because my personal statement was focussed around Business as well as the Economy. However, I would hope that they would see my potential and understand that they don't offer the exact course I want, but oh well.

I applied to Oxford with an open application because I really couldn't pick a college. My Grandad went to Jesus, but I didn't really mind where I went. They allocated me to St. Peters and I have an interview next Wednesday

Have you heard? What college have you applied to?

I know, no-one else at my school is applying to my course, but the fact that Oxford doesn't offer pure Economics makes the competition there even harder.

Well everyone's decisions and viewpoints are determined by external factors. However the most well reasoned positions on issues are those which are formed by the highest number of external inputs. Since then you can pick and choose the parts which correlate and therefore have a higher likelihood of being true/reliable/justifiable.

The media isn't a bad thing, but too much reliance on a single segment of the media leads to idiocy.

To be honest anyone who doesn't think that the press are all as bad as each other needs to open their eyes.
