I was reading through the "most disturbing literature you've read" thread today and saw that you mentioned Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino, which is a funny coincidence because I just finished reading it myself, albeit the Chinese translation this time (read the English version several years back). I'm not sure if it's one of your favourite books or not but either way, through looking at reviews I found the ending of the English translation was censored by its publisher because they felt it was too 'taboo' for American audiences.

Ironically the Chinese translation I finished a few days ago isn't censored at all. Sorry if this message seems totally out of the blue, haha, I just thought upon seeing your post you might be interested, and if you'd like to know what really happens I'd gladly summarise it for you. It's quite significant and I guess I just feel short-changed by the publisher knowing how much plot was cut out.

My name is Edd. I have applied for Arts and Culture at Maastricht this year and I saw that you applied in one of your posts?

Basically, Ive finished the application and I finish my Alevels next week, so I want to get everything I need to do sorted before my summer starts.

BUT, im freaking out because I dont know what to do.

I was wandering, if you are actually at Maastricht if you could fill me in on what you did in order to apply for the student loan, the various grants and the 'social security number' thing.
