  1. Hello Helen,

I have just got my bachelor degree in Shipping with first class honours. My university also awarded me a scholarship for student excellence. Furthermore, I have been working in maritime company as a trainee for about 6-months and I have met your IELTS requirements. Do I have any chance of a getting an offer for Msc in Shipping, Trade and Finance? Do I need to take GMAT test?
  2. Hi,
I was looking at the student room and Cass does seem to have a lot of praise but then i looked at the league tables and Cass was ranked 40'ish. I was wondering can you tell me why this is?
  3. Hi Helen!

I am a student at CASS doing IFRM part 1. I would like to find out what happens if I fail 2 modules from my first year. Apparently both the modules do not have examinations. One of the module is Professional Skills (BS1203) had one coursework in the Autumn term and the second module is, Financial Markets, Institutions and Instrument (FR1001) which had one coursework during the Autumn term which I failed and there is one more coursework during the Spring term.

So my question is, Will I be able to retake these modules which have no examinations and only group courseworks without retaking the whole year?

    Thanks
  4. Hi! What is a typical offer for a spot in your undergraduate Investment & Financial Risk Management, Banking & International Finance, and Accounting & Finance courses for a Canadian student - specifically an Ontario high school diploma? As well, which high school math course does Cass take into account most: calculus, statistics, or pre-calculus? One last thing, when would I typically receive a reply for my application, and would I be notified of rejection? Thanks!
  5. Hello, I have sent my application over 6 weeks ago for your course actuarial science. May I ask whether my application is still being considered as I know of people who have sent their application after me already recieved an offer.
  6. hello, so im just wondering if I have any chance of getting an offer. I still haven't finished my ucas application;/ i know bit slow. I want to apply for accounting and finance at cass
so my gcse grades aren't so great : A*AABBBBCCC
    AS : AAAE
    and A2 predictions: A*A*A (accounting , maths , art &design)
so do you think I should apply? im also thinking about lse is that being too ambitious?
  7. hello, I want to ask about your acturial science course. Is the course very demanding in terms of maths as I only have maths a level not further maths but i am predicted A star in normal maths. Also what kind of job prospects after the course aside from the obvious actuary. I would also like to know what kind of placements are on offer. Thanks.
  8. Hi,

I have received a late conditional offer from Cass Business school for a an Msc course.

The offer was subject to achieving a 2.1 and sending 2 academic references.

Due to some undisclosed reasons I had to resubmit a project, making my official transcipt delayed until the 23rd of September.

Despite that, I accepted Cass offer and paid the deposit. I have not notified Cass of this fact as yet, fearing that they could easily pass this vacancy to another candidate.

I was told that I would have to submit both documents prior to the registration day which is on the 12th of September, this is when the induction period begins. Normal teaching begins on the 26th of September.

I would really appreciate any advice from anyone who either has similar experience or is aware of the procedures in such scenarios.

    Thank you in advance
