My comment was not 'unnecessary and silly.' I expressed an opinion, as you have just done. As I've already said (several times, but you keep ignoring it) the whole idea of something French not being available worldwide bemused me.

I resent the insinuation that I haven't travelled outside of Europe when I hadn't once posted anything to suggest that. For what it's worth, I spend several weeks per year outside of Europe. I hadn't made any assumptions about any individuals, or there lifestyles, merely something that had been posted in a public forum. But I can see that there is no point in trying to have a decent, adult conversation with you as you keep resorting to calling me silly. It's a shame, really.

I've only just had the chance to read through your replies to me on the thread that was closed.

First of all, I wasn't trying to suggest that Britain is the centre of the universe. I merely commented on the fact that I found it bizarre that someone thought a certain piece of food wouldn't be available here, especially given that this country is so culturally diverse. I didn't comment on anything with regards to the person, nor did I try to talk down to them, as evident when I said "I'm not sure where you're from."

My second comment then expanded on what you said to me by stating that there are dozens of French things that have found their way across the globe, much like Chinese food is available worldwide.

I'm completely aware of different cultures - I, too, speak multiple languages and have a diverse background - and I don't appreciate you going on such a mammoth rant about one comment I made. I'm not an ignorant person, I'm just an individual who was a little bemused by the comment. No need to drag it on incessantly.

Actually I am over 18 and I can guarantee I have achieved more than you ever have or ever will. So don't even bother trying to insult me, it's laughable. You know nothing about me besides some pseudo persona you've constructed for me based on putting words into my mouth. I'm an angry young man? And your 'theory' about leagues is absolute bull. You only get treated as a doormat in a relationship if you allow that to happen.
