Sorry didn't get back to you as I just came back from Holiday, to be honest it was most likely just the apptitude test that held me back, otherwise I personally think I would stand a decent chance at OASC overall, but the dilema is the time of either waiting however long it takes to either re do the apptitude testing or apply for different officer role, many of which are not recruiting and without any news as to when they will.

I think you might be right about the mental challenge, out of many people on OASC I was very surprised how under prepared many or even majority of candidates were as to selection as well as RAF in general.

On the other hand I have to consider the option of going Airman as well and ICT Tech stood out and is recruiting, but personally I would prefer to go for Weapon Tech but they didn't take on any for a year now.

Any advice would be helpful, as I am now starting to look on whats Army has to offer even tho RAF is where I want to be.

Hey, I noticed your posts in Armed Forces section of the forum. I recently got back from OASC previously applying for SNCO ATC and my apptitude score was 99/100 so one out for my chosen branch, and I am now considering ICT Tech as a Career.

Can you possibly give me an advice if that's a decent career choice for me (I been to university so have a degree). I have the qualification and AST score for it so I can get the ball rolling rather quick with it, just need some advice if that's the right job choice.

Do you enjoy being ICT Tech, can you list good and bad sides of this job? Thanks
