  1. Thank you very much

Do you think they have eBook versions? I just bought myself a new eReader So I might just download the eBook version and read it there

Owh, I hope you don't mind me asking, with a Philosophy degree, what would a person gain from getting one? I ask because I almost applied for a MA Philosophy (opted to do straight PhD instead) but I don't really know what I would get from it. Mind telling me your experience so far doing a Philosophy degree?

    Thanks mate
  2. Just read your About Me; you study Philosophy! Any introductory books you can recommend me for studying/learning Philosophy? I'm a beginner btw :blushing:

I bought a book about Aristotle's Philosophy. Quite hard to read really. Lack basic skills I think =/

It is indeed, my favourite game so far in the series. :yep:

I like Silje's voice, it works very well with their style. I've got The West Pole on my itunes, it's a great album.

I love them, really do. Not keen on their albums pre Anneke, but everything with her is fantastic, even the covers of their older stuff. The new singer ain't bad either. :yep: Definitely not a band that's declined for having got a new one. Unlike Nightwish.

I just had to pop in and praise you for being a fan of The Gathering, epic band!
  6. hmm i alot of the shows i recommended are growers, its better to try them out (depending on how much spare time you have) rather than watching old stuff again, another one is 30 rock, i didnt like it at first but i love it now. raising hope is pretty funny, but its not one of my favourites. some other shows that are good, but only funny when you watch it when it airs, are russel howards good news and never mind the buzzcocks (not so much this one, i guess you could still enjoy older episodes) . i like phone shop and QI aswell.
wow thats a lot o television  i didnt even realise until i wrote it all down ah well youve got loads of stuff to try out now
  7. thats pretty much exactly the same as me! you should try community, parks and recreation, the office (british AND american), the ricky gervais show (and pretty much anything with karl pilkington in it ) modern family, its always sunny in philadelphia, curb your enthusiasm, happy endings and new girl (the last two are fairly recent) - the most of these are american though
  8. im not a big fan of scrubs either, friends was really good but used to on all the time so it was hard not to watch it
what shows do you watch? perhaps i can recommend you some, i watch a lot of crap television
  9. on bbc 3 im guessing? :teehee: i was speaking to someone who only watches it online and they didnt even remember the pilot episode, i was like :nooo: then i realised that due to their recycling of old episodes, ive seen some really old episodes at least 2 or three times, but the newer ones only once so i end up remembering older ones better than the newer ones if that makes sense?
  10. i decided not to spam the himym thread anymore - ah that episode was pretty good, but tbh im not a fan of brian&stewie episodes. it was funny how they made jokes about how it used to be drawn (peters eye/nose thingy)
