Thanks very much for the information, it is really helpful. I've only been to Newcastle the once and that was for my interview, so didn't really get the chance to look around much. Sort of saw Ricky Road from afar, but that's about it. Can't believe I will be going there in September, it is a dream, especially after the disappointment last year. Can I just ask another quick question, which i've just thought about. I have already had two of my hep b injections, because I have been working part time in a local dentist and I have my 3rd and final one in April. Do the university do a blood test to check your immunity or is that something you have to sort out yourself and then provide evidence?
Hi, wonder if you can help. I am a Gap year re-applicant and hold an unconditional offer at Newcastle . I'm trying to decide on accommodation and just wondered where you chose to stay, why you chose it and if you are happy there? Also, if you had to choose again would you choose the same or somewhere else?
I have sort of decided where I want to stay, but thought I would ask someone who has first hand experience. Marris House and Windsor Terrace are my preferrred choices, but I wouldn't be too bothered if I got Richardson Road either tbh. Thanks in advance for your help
hey, do you study dentistry at newcastle? i have my interview really soon and am really scared! do you have any tips, or remember what it was like when you had yours? thanks!
Hi, seeing as you're a dental student, maybe you can help me with a few things? I'm planning on doing bio, chem, psychology, maths and EPQ on dentistry next year, are they good choices? Would you give any tips or advice on achieving required grades? What extra curricular activities did you do, what can separate me from the rest? I'm pretty much an A grade student for my GCSEs, is this enough or are mainly A*s needed? Will this affect my A level performances? I would really appreciate it if you helped, and thank you for your time Yasmin
Hi, i'm a gap year student and i have applied to both Sheffield and Newcastle for dentistry and was just wondering how the interviews are at both institutions and the sorts of questions they asked you? I also wanted to know from your perspective how has your time been at the Newcastle dental school? Any help and advice would be appreciated, thanks!
Hey did you get a chance to review my 2nd draft?
I'm from Malaysia, applying for undergraduate dentistry course for 2013 intake. GSCE grades: 3A*6A 2B . A level subjects are chem, math, bio and phy with expected grades aabb. my UKCAT score is awfully low with only 543 on the average. Applying to Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool and queen's Belfast. Am i applying to the right universities?
hey there , basically could you give me some advice on where you think i would stand a good chance as i got 4A* 6A's for GCSE which isn't the best. Also do you have to declare AS results on ucas form ? Does kings give offers of AAB?
CONGRATSS!!!! YOU DID AMAZING )
