Alright mate, cheers for turning me onto that mode one book. I've been much more forward since I read it. It's really quite liberating to be upfront about your intentions and cut through the usual BS. Still, I've got some reservations about being REALLY direct straight away. If you go up to a girl and proposition her right off the bat then she doesn't really have much to base her decision on - just your physical appearance, apparent confidence, etc. She's also going to assume that you only like her because of her looks - which most girls aren't going to like. You're also putting a lot of pressure on the girl (it's a real rabbit in the headlines job) and the easiest route out is to just say no. If on the other hand you start flirting early on in a conversation, showing confidence, humour and other good qualities, you'll avoid the friendzone in a similar way, but there's a chance of winning over women who aren't instantly bowled over by your looks. Just my two cents. Thoughts?
