Oh and thanks for the rep too.
My pleasure, glad to be of some help.
Good luck for your application!
I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with those, therefore your only real weakness may be the UKCAT result. As long as you research the cutoffs well, and get a really rocking personal statement, work experience, and work hard at your A levels, I think you're in with a really good shot.
As I said, just make sure you do your research. You're in the right place (i.e. on TSR) to do that.
Use the Medicine wiki he have on here to your full advantage, and get involved with the applicants threads for universities you may be interested in applying to. People on these threads are really helpful, and will be able to answer most university specific questions you might have.
My problem was not doing my research when applying first time round, not necessarily my academics or anything else.
My advice, research all your choices really thoroughly, and tailor your application to suit. Look for universities that don't mind a UKCAT below 660 (your UKCAT is still well above average by the way, the average is supposed to be 600, and I know people who got into medical school with far less than you on their UKCAT).
What were your GCSEs (if you don't mind me asking)?
Nice going on the AS levels by the way! Awesome predictions too.
Hey, glad to be of service.
I was a reapplicant though (I didn't get in first time round).
My UKCAT the first time was 687.5, the second 700. Hope that helps!
sure, go for it...PM me if you want...
Haha thanks, I saw one of your posts...I think it was an inappropriate joke about kids
or something and I just thought woow this person is amazing :P
