    Perfect haha. That's alright then

    e) I got NaOH as it'd react with the Hexylresorcinol to form it's conjugate base

Q3) The forward and reverse reaction take place at the same rate
The concentrations of the reactants and products are constant

    b) Kc = [CH3OH] / [CO][H2]

    ii) 0.17 dm^3mol^-1
  2. I was confused by this too but apparently the mark scheme is wrong and the answer is 0.013
  3. yes! and i got the same
  4. I got that rate increases but the rate constant increases too? :s

oh and i got the same as you for the NO part
  5. The intiial rate that they give you for the first reaction is only for HCHO . the ratio of oxygen to HCHO is 2:1/2 , but because we can't work with that we double the ratio to 4:1 .. so you just do a scale up and divide the initial rate of HCHO by 4 to get the rate for O2 hope that made sense!
  6. yep i got exactly the same! for the next part i got 2.5x10-13
  7. okay shoot! :P you'll probs know more than me!
  8. okay let me know when you're done
  9. of course go for it!
