They are nowhere near Islam because there is no Sharia. There is democracy practiced for one, probably the biggest one because it is the base of the government. Women are not required to cover up, segregation is not required, etc. Aren't these obvious?

Please explain to me how Afghanistan's laws are nowhere near in line with Islam. And how would you describe a proper Islamic Afghan government?

The only reason I quoted you in the first place was because you claimed that Afghanistan has Islamic laws implemented, when it clearly does not, that's all I'm trying to get across to you. The conversation is not about what will happen if the US withdraw.

I didn't say that Saudi has a 100% Islamic government and that they follow Islam exactly like the prophet PBUH or the Rashidun did. I said that they at least have some laws that are in line with Islam, whereas Afghanistan is nowhere near.

I will never support a non-Islamic government in Afghanistan, be it the West or Russian Communists or even Afghans.

Look it's not an option for Afghanistan to have NATO there or not, it's a necessity in the current situation. You tell me what will happen to the Kabul government if the 'infidels' withdraw now. It would probably collapse and we will experience a civil war worse than the one in the 1990s. Remember how good Dr Najibullah's government was. He proved to the Soviets that he was able to handle the government without the Soviets, so that's why they withdrew. He held the government for three years and it only collapsed because the Soviet Union stopped fundings. If Karzai was not so corrupt, if he did not gamble with the people of Afghanistan's blood, if he established a proper government with educated politicians and not farmers, than the USA would have withdrawn probably years ago. The USA is not asking much of Afghanistan, they just want a military base from which they can control the rest of Asia and the Middle East. You claim that Saudi is more Islamic than Afghanistan but yet they were delighted when the USA established bases there.

I am Afghan. Just because I don't support the current government doesn't mean I support the Taliban.

Well I didn't say that any country has Sharia (although Saudi does have many more Islamic laws than Afghanistan), I don't claim that. I was responding to what you said that Afghanistan is an Islamic country with Islamic laws, which it isn't, and will never be with the current government. It's a puppet of the US, it's there to serve their interests and a true Islamic state is not in the interests of the US.

Also, what do you mean it's against Islam to charge Jizya...
