  1. Appreciate the rep! :yep:
  2. Hello Came across a comment of yours when I searched LGBT on here... Was nice to see another girl identifying as 'gay' rather than 'lesbian'. I don't associate with 'lesbian' and have had comments before that I call myself gay.

Anyway... just a random note of appreciation x
  3. Hello, my name is Kamil and I came across one of your older posts saying you got offers to do physics at uni with a B in physics if i'm correct. I was looking at york and southampton at the moment but i was only wandering at the different grades they accept students with. what course are you doing now and where?
  4. I did the same thing - and trust me, uni is the best thing that ever happened to me. I got 80% this year in classes, have the best friends a girl could ask for, and am happier than I ever was at home.

It's amazing to be a fresher, enjoy it!
  5. Worry not young one; they're just tests the uni does every year to assess the whole year group (like if A levels are getting easier...) - it is nothing to do with you at all.

Still excited? I'm sure you'll meet me at some point over Fresher's week!
  6. Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world, she took the midnight train going anywhereeeee, just a city boy, born and raised in south detriot, he took the midnight train going anywhereeeee.

    Yes.
  7. Hey i saw u may be going to southampton and wanted to talk to someone about it. Have u visited it yet thanks x
  8. hiya, just thought i would say hi
  9. Come to Bristol yah? (Y) ^^
  10. Oh hi there - I don't use TSR much anymore
    Sorry for the late reply...

Yes, I am a Physics student and I love it at Sussex. The lecturers are all experts in their field and that makes it much more interesting (for example our 'optics' course is taught by an astrophysicist - we have practicals with telescopes and we learn about cool stuff like gravitational lensing...)

The department is so so friendly, and it's great because they really encourage you to do well. You'll never feel like you've been left on your own. Lecturers are so friendly, they often invite us down to the pub or come on pub crawls (and quite a few come to the physics balls, which is a chance to basically drink and chat in a gown )

Anyway, if you want more details, PM me, and if you want to come to visit/sit in on a lecture, I'm happy to show you around.
