  1. Appreciate the rep. :yep:
  2. Of course! Good luck to you too!
  3. Hi
I got an offer for qub medicine and I am going to firm it! I was wondering what I should expect in the first year. What are you studying? What books do I need? What aspects of the course are you finding difficult? As I am on a gap year atm, I was thinking of just reading over some medicine - related topics just to give me a general idea before I start. What books/ topics would you recommend for me to research?
Also, if you could give any info on any medical social events or anything else that is relevant that would be great !
    Thanks very much
  4. Thank you very much for your message. What do you mean by the 7 principles? I can only think of 4 ethicial principles. How many people are in your year? Yes, being close to home is a bonus.
Its hard to think of possible scenarios to practise for the interview. I would love to get in. Its my first choice
  5. Hi,

I've just seen your post in the Queens thread and was wondering how you find the course? I'm hopeful that I will get an interview, the style of interview sounds hard the more I think about it though! Also if you don't mind me asking how do you find the social side of things? The main worry I have about Queens if I was lucky enough to get an offer is the fact that I'm from over the sea and I've heard a lot about people going home as weekends, are there many people from over here in your year?

    Thank you!
  6. I noticed you were a medicine student at Queens. I'm a reapplicant and Queens is my first choice. I was wondering what you thought of the course and how you would advise me to prepare for interviews?
    Thanks in advance
  7. Act as a coffee shop? lol.
  8. Your occupation is the coolest thing ever about you
  9. The thread got deleted. I think the OP is a troll or just sick.
  10. At the moment we've got Anatomy, Histology, Cell Biology and some Chemistry lectures. I'm looking forward to our placements though.
Have you met any patients yet?
