Ah, I ruled against a year in industry - I can see why it might be beneficial but at the same time I'd rather keep going - I think while you sharpened some skills you might also forget some others

Ouch - sounds a nasty subject to do an essay on - we had a thermodynamic essay last year - absolutely horrendous :/
I like Mechanics but hate Electricity (at least circuits)
Electromagnetism is good though - currently doing a lab project to design motors to propel a maglev train (superconducting) around a track - very interesting but hard.
Anyhow, I best be off - need to finish a Quantum tutorial for Friday
Will continue conversation tomorrow I expect

The Physics course is good There are definitely bits of it I hate with a passion (Thermodynamics) but bits I really, really enjoy and am almost swayed to stay on for a fourth year just because of those units.
As for report writing - it is pretty difficult to pick up decent marks - anything above 60% is considered above average!
