Well because they have a good financial package for students and I hear that they are going to fix the whole issue with student housing. Although I may be having second thoughts.

Oh I see. I might like doing some sort of Biological science I am hoping to do my 1st degree in the scientific discipline that I want and then maybe do a Masters in Economics or Science Communication before I go on to Medical School.

I was officially not allowed back for the second year (on the assumption that I was going to get the grades) but my head of department "unofficially"overturned the senior tutor's decision..... She said that if I do well in my AS Exams then I can come back next year.

I was probably allowed back too "unofficially" if I were to meet her at the enrolment day but I decided not to. I had some pretty crap friends tbh and a general crap time at college , with crap teachers etc..... so I thought I would go elsewhere and start afresh. Made some really nice friends , working hard and enjoying myself

Like me. I think I foolishly dropped Physics when I should have taken it again! I think I may try out maths (self teaching) now and if I am doing well.... take the exam but next year when my college offers me another AS as they cocked up things(but fail to admit it)......... I will probably take Physics if I feel confident in it.

You could have gone for Medicine with a foundation year in that case but with much fewer places than A100 Medicine (in some med schools) it gets more competitive.

My only hope is Durham and Newcastle for medical school.

Are you at the same or a different college? I am at a new one.
