I've been wondering about DH bikers for a while...and then saw you on here and thought I'd ask a question: what age did you start? I only do technical cross country mountain biking & am learning dirt jumping so occaisionally meet downhill riders. They astound me, they're f-cking fearless! I wish I could be like them but I wonder if it's something you did from a young age or if it just takes balls, even if you're old and wrinkly like me.

I try not to think like that, it depresses the hell out of me. I would have done my whole life differently but it's getting there now so no point in dwelling on past mistakes :P Yeah go for it, it's an interesting idea

Thinking of taking my bike to uni but I'm too scared to cycle on the roads lol At home I just cycled through the woods and ****. Do you cycle at uni?

It's called Happy Ever After by Adèle Geras, and after this girl is raped (yes it's an ironic title ) she's beating herself up over agreeing to be alone with the rapist and saying "If only I'd gone back to the party instead", and she says "If only: the saddest words in the world."

I was bored of the old 'about me' section, so here's a new one.

I'm Jamie, I live in Cumbria and I'm a mountain bike and fitness instructor and have major ambitions for travel.
