Agree with you regarding David Starkey - his books aren't the best, in all honesty. He often appears to gloss over any genuinely complex and interesting historical debate in favour of bombastic prose...

I'm absolutely loving it! Have got involved in some extra-curricular stuff, made loads of new friends, developed a few new interests on my course and I'm just absolutely loving every moment of it Getting my first assessed essay mark back this week though, scary!
