I actually like how there is a split between the clinical and pre-clinical! I like the idea of knowing all the underlying science before doing clinical stuff with patients. St Andrews looks beautiful too and is shamefully what I look for in a university I would, to be honest, take an offer from anywhere if it meant I could study Medicine

Is there good opportunities for research over the Summer?

We haven't talked before but I was wondering if you answer a question about Medicine at St Andrews How much dissection is there? Also how did you find the course? Is the teaching good?

I'm considering applying there for 2014 entry and after sufficient stalking I saw you were studying there.

Hey!! Haven't spoken to you for a while, how are you? How's medical school? Things are alright, I've had two interviews and I have one at King's on Tuesday, so just gotta wait to hear back really. Not heard anything from Sheffield, which is weird! March is going to be fun because it's when I'll be hearing back from pretty much everyone

I've noticed your posts in the st andrews medical applicants 2013 thread and i was wondering if i could please ask you a few questions about the course (I have an interview in a few weeks time) and preparing for the interview. For example, how do they assess you throughout the degree? Also, please could you give a few examples of what people do for their research project in year 4 (it doesn't say much about it in the prospectus). Also, I noticed you mentioned how you should have a bit of knowledge about the structure of the nhs. I've looked on a few websites but everything is either too confusing or just has too much detail. For example, what do the health boards actually do? and stuff like that. Sorry for the long message. Any help would be massively appreciated

My mum says I'll grow up to be like her (not sure what she means - I'll cheat on my husband because I'm dissatisfied with our marriage, move across the country, have a series of failed relationships and end up infertile.
